After School (Pegasus)

The Pegasus Club aims to provide a safe and stimulating environment for children aged 4-12, out of school hours, in a caring, relaxed atmosphere. It is open to all children in the area, not only those who are enrolled with us.

Organisation:

The Group runs according to National and Local Authority Guidelines. It is staffed according to the number of children on the register, with a minimum of one adult to eight children.

A light snack is provided on arrival. Activities include:

• Board games catering for the full age range
• Jigsaw puzzles
• Art and craft activities
• Soft ball games
• Outside games (weather permitting)
• Table-tennis
• Adventure Playground
• Television, video
• Quiet corner for homework
• Wide selection of books
• Home corner
• Dressing-up clothes
• Cookery
